The Game...

Get the brief on the chase!

(What do you need to know?)

How does the Chase works?

Each team needs a minium of two people to a maximum of five per car

You will receive instructions in two ways:

bulletReceiving verbal or SMS instructions from one of the organisers
bulletLocating a new postcard at a destination point along the course

A Clue (Yellow) postcard consists of a cryptic or blatant description of the place where a Final Destination Clue (Tan) or a Final Location (Orange) postcard can be found. The picture on the Clue  postcard was taken within three metres of where a Final Destination Clue or a Final Location postcard will be hidden. All teams need to find the postcard dropped at each new location to continue. When the Final Destination Clue or the Final Location postcard is found, teams will receive their next instruction through a new postcard. Other postcards such as a Split (Blue), a Bonus (Rose) or a General (Red) postcard can also lead teams to a new location, however will normally provide additional information to a task or activity that will need to be carried completed.

The Final Destination Clue (Tan) will consist of cryptic or blatant clue describing the final location. All teams will receive a predetermined number of postcards marked Final Location (Orange) during the course of the day. Each of these postcards will  displays a letter of the alphabet, eventually spelling out the end point of The Chase. By using the Final Destination Clue, teams can begin to decipher the cryptic message to locate this position. The clue consists of the suburb and street name, the location (e.g. park or museum) and the exact point of the 'finish line'. These cryptic clues can be in reference to similar words (e.g. Lou = Loo), synonyms or similar categories of description. All of the Final Location postcards will spell out the locations name; essential to win the game. The first team to the final location, with all team members and all of their Final Location postcards will win the chase. All the pictures on the Final Destination Clue postcard have been taken within 500 metres of the final position of the chase.
