The solving of this clue will lead your team to a location where a Final Destination Clue (Tan) or a Final Location (Orange) postcard can be found. A Clue (Yellow) can comprise of information about the suburb, locality, park title, street name, and landmarks or even common objects such as a tree or a bin. Do not assume that all of this information will appear in the clue. All teams need to locate the point where the photograph was taken to discover a Final Destination Clue or a Final Location postcard. The Final Destination Clue or the Final Location postcard will be placed in a box within 3 metres of where the Clue's photo was taken.
The following are some examples of a Clue (Yellow) from previous events to better illustrate the purpose of the postcard...
'Under the Stirling', in this example, refers to the Stirling Highway, yet specifically under the Stirling Bridge. 'Sorrell' indicates the name of the park and 'Brown' is the name of the Point, namely Point Brown. 'Sat' indicates the location of the clue, specifically the bench and 'looking over the bird' refers to the Swan River (i.e. the view from the bench). The word 'North' in this Clue refers to the suburb name, North Fremantle, and the specific estate, the North Bank. In this Example, the closest street name is not given, only a highway clue.
This Clue followed a Bonus (Rose) in the same park and suburb, specifically Mt Lyell Park in Mosman Park. The word 'pile' indicates the pile of shovels pictured above, also supported by the picture (above). 'Around' connotes a round-a-bout, near which the shovels can be found. Supported by the key word 'McCabe', the street name in Mosman Park, only three round-a-bouts can be located. The correct Street is the intersection of Hutchinson Avenue and McCabe Street, on the same block as Mt Lyell Park.
This Clue contains only a small amount of information, however, it blatantly communicates a lot about the specific destination. 'Pine-'e' Reserve' refers to the Piney Lakes Reserve in Winthrop, confirmed by the Winthrop name located in the bottom right hand corner of the postcard. 'Senses' connotes the name of the Sensory Park, where the 'e' can be found, also confirmed through the picture (above) that illustrates a 'S' and the park's Pirate Ship in the background. The picture (above) was taken through the 'e', the location of the next Final Destination Clue (Tan) (as confirmed in the accompanying 'note' at the base of the postcard). This clue does not mention the close street name of Murdoch Drive, as some much of the other information is located in the clue and picture.
