(Costume  Designer, Makeup Designer, Properties Manager, Ed Pack)

Role: Costume and makeup design, prop sourcing, designing the Education Pack

Main aim: For makeup and costume (and to some extent, prop sourcing), the aim is to help the performers look and feel like their characters they are playing

Located where: At the side of the stage, waiting to pick up costumes and props as the actors finish with them. We have to take care of the props, so nothing is lost or broken

Interesting Fact: If you find yourself without a sewing needle, PVA glue is handy for hemming costumes. Just be careful not to stand too close to a stage light, or the glue might melt!

Likes: I love this production because of the really colourful and bold makeup, which uses glitter, jewels, and silver/gold makeup

Dislikes: I hate it when a performer just leaves their props in a pile with their costumes, expecting someone else to clean it up

Some interesting books to read are….

bullet The Bear’s Bazaar by Michelle Cartlidge
bullet So You Can Make a Rainbow by Marge Frank
bullet Stage Makeup by Laura Thudium
