The following is an excerpt of Glimmer's My Space page...Hehe, hello everyone. I'm Glimmer the snow fairy and I live in the Ice Palace. Its a very pretty place with magic and sparkles everywhere. Its a world with lots of magic and faerie creatures. Hehe I'm a fairy creature too!!
My best friends are Sparkle and Glisten and we play together all the time. We'll, thats if we can get away from Belladonna and the Snow Queen because they don't seem to like to play very much.
I love sugary food and especially strawberry slushies! I'm not
sure how old I am exactly but in faerie years i'm still very young.

I don't really know because I can only remember living with the Snow Queen so I've only ever met the people who come to visit us in the Ice Palace. But if I could meet anyone maybe and animal that doesn't live in the snow! Maybe the faeries that live in the sun would be nice to meet, as long as they don't have a Sun Queen because one Queen is enough!
Now I know! I would really like to meet a human child, that would be really neat, because I've never seen one before. I wonder if they exist?

Week Eight

Bloom's Taxonomy's second level provides a starting block for deeper comprehension. The 'Understand' level looks at events, but what they mean. Journal entries could include...
|
Explaining how events impact on the workshop
|
Outlining your reasons for completing the unit
|
Using symbols such as drawings and pictures to communicate your comprehension
|
Phrasing events in your own words
|
Recognising your learning
|
Interpretations through metaphors |

I don't like Hemlock the Hobgoblin at all, he's not very nice and he's not even an ice creature! The Snow Queen should just tell him to go away but she seems to like him, and NO-ONE tells the Snow Queen what to do. The last faerie *shiver* that tried to give the Snow Queen orders ended up in the Dungeon! Of course no-one really speaks about the things that happen there. I think its safer to just obey the Snow Queen. She lets us live with her in the Icy Palace so she is kinda the boss. Besides she has power over the whole realm that can't be matched.
I really don't like it when the Arctic Wolf comes to visit either. Sparkle and Glisten and I overheard the he's 'one half of the unity'. I'm not sure what a 'unity' is but it must be really scary. Wolf wants to eat us, eeek! The only reason he hasn't had us for dinner yet is because the Snow Queen won't let him. I'm still really scared of him though.
I wish the Snow Queen would just kick them
both out of the Icy Palace. Its not like they are fun or even pretty to look
at. Hmmm, maybe we can make the Hobgoblin pretty. Tee hee, add some glitter
and give him a pair of matching pink wings... I'm going to go tell Sparkle and
Glisten and see what they think. Hehehe.

Well... I DON'T like you either... little girl!!!! I am too powerful to care, however I can promise you this... soon there will be no more sunsets, no more swimming, and no more ICE CREAMS!! Winter's icy breath will see to that!! For I am Lord Hemlock, and I control all... even little fairies like yourself! HA!
